In the SCHLOSSBERG, a watch has been created that meets the aesthetic demands of the master watchmaker. The dial captivates with its clear and classic design. The hands in particular have a wonderful personal history: when Daniel Malchert searched his grandfather’s collection of pocket watches, he discovered a hand that resonated with him immediately. The hands for the SCHLOSSBERG watch are inspired by this fortuitous discovery.
The movement: In every SCHLOSSBERG watch, an original movement from Glashütte keeps time. The raw movement, consisting of about 100 parts, is decorated in the Malchert workshop. The bridges are given a matte finish and peripherally ground, before the edges are chamfered and polished along with the jewel sinks, the screw heads, and the steel parts. The brass plates are then gilded to create a harmonious contrast of components. The company logo is added by a master engraver, before each calibre is given a registration number so its complete history can be tracked.
The hands are lightly sanded and blued with heat.
The dial is silver plated – its nuanced texture the perfect compliment to the fresh and elegant silhouette of the watch.
The case is made of 316L stainless steel and is water resistant to 30 meters. The lug width is 18mm.
The sapphire glass is highly resistant to impact.
The back is also made of sapphire glass and provides a fascinating view of the inner workings of the watch.
The dimensions: The SCHLOSSBERG watch has an outer diameter of 36mm and is extremely flat for a mechanical watch, measuring just 6.5mm thick.
The strap: hand-stitched „Aniline Calf“ leather – the finest grade English calf leather – in chocolate brown with triple hand-painted edges. The hand-sewn, hypoallergenic lining is in a matching tone, and embossed with the company logo.

Technical specifications: The SCHLOSSBERG watch has a power reserve of 43 hours. The hacking seconds function allows the time to be set to the second.
